Description
Steps to reproduce:
<executable>C:\FOO BAR\My.bat</executable>(Mind the blank between FOO and BAR)
Expected result:
- Executes
cmd.exe /c "C:\FOO BAR\My.bat"
Actual result:
- Logs that it would execute
cmd.exe /c "C:\FOO BAR\My.bat"but then fails with error message telling thatC:\FOOis not found. (Mind the missing rest of the path)
Workaround:
- Strip path from
<executable> - Add path to
<workingDirectory>

Research direction
Start by reproducing the Windows case using an value containing a space, such as C:\FOO BAR\My.bat, and compare it with the workaround. Trace how the Maven plugin constructs and launches cmd.exe /c, then verify that the complete batch-file path is passed and the command executes successfully.
