Description
It would be nice if there is a property like failOnError for additional control over the execution exit.
This would be useful mostly when UI components are being build and bundled.
The failOnError can be achieved if we wrap the commands in a shell script but this is additional step.

Research direction
Start by locating the execution goal and its configuration options in the plugin, then trace how command failures determine the build exit status. Define how a failOnError-style property should affect that behavior and verify that UI build commands can continue without a shell wrapper.
