Description

Very similar to what's requested in:

And related to what's described in https://docs.docker.com/engine/admin/logging/log_tags/

It would be great being able to use {{.Service.Name}}, {{.Task.Slot}} or ANY other placeholder for syslog tag or ANY property on compose file used to deploy with docker stack.

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by reviewing the Docker stack deployment and syslog-tag paths, then compare the linked Moby and SwarmKit issues and the logging tag documentation. Done would require a defined scope and documented behavior for placeholder substitution across the requested properties.
