Description

I would like to inquire if Buildkit has any plans to support image build encryption.

Currently, there are some community tools available for image build encryption, such as imgcrypt or skopeo. However, I couldn't find any related content in the Buildkit repository. Could you please provide guidance on how to implement image build encryption in Buildkit?

Research direction

Start by reviewing the BuildKit repository and the issue's references to imgcrypt and skopeo. The issue names no entry point, tests, implementation scope, or acceptance criteria, so first establish whether image build encryption is planned and what support would count as done.
