Description

Somehow very annoying, after using mutt or simply less (e.g. with man command) the alternated screen of the xterm is not used. That is that after leaving e.g. mutt the screen abover the shell prompt shows the last view of mutt instead of the last output before starting mutt. This does work with slogin/ssh. IMHO mosh client/server channel should not suppress nor filter out the smcup (ti) nor the rmcup (te) escape sequences but fully support them with TERM=xterm

Research direction

Start by tracing how the mosh client/server handles the smcup (ti) and rmcup (te) escape sequences when TERM=xterm, and compare that behavior with slogin/ssh. Done means mutt, less, and man restore the shell's previous screen after exit instead of leaving their last view visible.
