Description
The count up timer keeps triggering activity on my terminal (iterm) that in turn fires off notifications (growl). The disconnection overlay disappearing would be sufficient for me to know I can return my mosh session in the terminal.

Research direction
Start by locating the mosh client's terminal disconnection overlay and its count-up timer. Determine how an optional display setting should suppress the timer while preserving the overlay behavior, then verify that terminal activity no longer triggers notifications when the duration is disabled.
