Description

I am not sure if mosh or powerlevel10k would be the right issue tracker, but based on https://github.com/romkatv/powerlevel10k/issues/1598 i think it is more a mosh issue.

I am using the powerlevel10k zsh prompt, which displays weirdly when the connection to the server happens via mosh.

This is how it looks like via SSH:
ssh

And this is how it looks like via mosh:
mosh

It is not visible on the screenshot, but the whole line is blinking in a frequency of roughly 1Hz. The cursor itself is not blinking.

I am already using mosh from git HEAD, due to the known issue of the wrong color display. Since it is the first time that such a blinking occurs, i am trustfully creating the issue for you, but i cannot rule it out if it maybe is more a powerlevel10k issue.

This is maybe related to https://github.com/mobile-shell/mosh/issues/1004 and therefore to https://github.com/mobile-shell/mosh/issues/507 - i am using mosh-server version 1.3.2, and powerlevel10k is using powerline style, as you may see.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the blinking with mosh-server 1.3.2 and the powerlevel10k powerline-style prompt, comparing the same session over SSH and mosh. Read the linked mosh issues 1004 and 507 and powerlevel10k issue 1598; done means the responsible component is identified and the blinking is eliminated or clearly documented with a validated fix.
