Description
FFplay(ffmpeg) opens and plays the dpx img seq correctly, so is there a misreading in MLT of what dpx files are?
For quick testing I've uploaded a file with an dxp and a png img seq here: http://we.tl/b1rVSvf1R5

Research direction
Start by reproducing the DPX and PNG image-sequence behavior in Shotcut and comparing it with FFplay, using the uploaded test file if it remains available. Done means a DPX sequence opens as a multi-frame image sequence rather than as a one-frame A/V file.
