Description

Describe the bug
Audio is muted when doing stutter loops (copy/pasting the same 1 frame clip multiple times), but video is fine.
Splitting the clip to 2 frames seems to fix the issue, but its still annoying.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open Shotcut
  2. Open a file
  3. Drag it into the timeline
  4. Split the clip at 1 frame
  5. Copy paste it multiple times
  6. Play the timeline/Render the video

Expected behavior
Expected the audio to be affected, both in playback and in render

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Q4OS
  • OS Version: 6.1
  • MLT/melt version: 7.32

Research direction

No source file or test is named. First reproduce the one-frame copy/paste case in MLT using the listed timeline steps, then trace how the repeated clips are handled during playback and rendering; done means the audio is present in both outputs without needing two-frame splits.
