Description

Hello guys,
At Volvo, we would like to try to use the Code Carbon library, initially for a testing purpose on a small team, to see how we can incorporate it further on. The issue I see is that we can't force developers to use the Code Carbon every time they code something on their PC. Therefore, we thought to try to incorporate it within Databricks.
We tried the library, seems to be working fine, but we are not sure how the numbers are calculated. No, not about the formula, but how do you get the information on which type of energy is used to power that specific computing power fleet?
In our case, we have Azure. Is it possible to get any explanation on how it is done, so that we can understand how we should move further on.
