Description

If the testnet goes down, we should be alerted in Slack.

At the very least, we should have alerts fire if any of the following happens:

  • Testnet becomes inaccessible
  • Testnet stops producing blocks

Andrea/Marton can provide additional details on how to configure alerts.

Research direction

The issue defines alerts for an inaccessible testnet and a testnet that stops producing blocks, with notifications sent to Slack. Begin by consulting Andrea or Marton for the alert configuration details. Done means both conditions trigger Slack alerts reliably.
