Description

I’m not finding any working nerf/gaussian-splatting demos on metal.
This pair released recently would be amazing to work with and take advantage of the 128gb on the M3.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the linked CamP + zip-NeRF project and the existing MLX examples to determine what a Metal-compatible demo would require. Define the example's scope, dependencies, and success criteria; done should mean a working demo runs on Metal, but this issue does not name specific files or tests.
