Description

Currently, the NumberField only allows an Intl.NumberFormat unit to be used as a visual indicator. However, mStudio uses the units MiB and GiB to represent storage space, and these cannot currently be displayed in the NumberField. Therefore, it would be useful to support these units, or more generally, to allow custom units to be freely defined.

Research direction

Start with the NumberField overview and its unit section, then locate the NumberField implementation and existing coverage. Define the change so custom units such as MiB and GiB can be displayed while existing Intl.NumberFormat units continue to work, and verify both cases.
