Description
Support for a [mysql options file](https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/8.0/en/option-files.html) would be awesome
--defaults-extra-file="~/files/.my.cnf"
This is only a feature idea and could also be a improvement for a follow up pull request.

Research direction
No repository files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by tracing how the CLI handles MySQL-related arguments and compare the requested --defaults-extra-file option with the linked MySQL option-file documentation. Done means the CLI supports the requested option-file behavior with documented usage and tests.
