Description

What happens when there is a tie for first place on the last day?

Do we want the bot to handle this event?
What is a tie breaker?

  • number of problems solved for the month (we would need stats update for this oof)
  • one last problem (but what if neither can solve it...?)
  • heads or tails? (this is pretty unfair in a skill based tourney
  • give them classic nitro instead (unfair IMO)

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are identified. First clarify whether the bot should handle end-of-month ties and choose a single tie-break rule. Done means the rule and the bot's expected behavior are explicitly decided.
