Description
Would like to have a json file which captures the configuration of the target hardware; which pins are used for what - e.g. SPI1 is for SD card, whereas SPI2 is for the eInk display, what model the eInk display is, etc.

Research direction
Start by examining the repository's embedded hardware client code to find where pin assignments, SPI usage, and eInk display details are currently defined. The work is done when a JSON configuration captures those target-hardware details, including the stated pin purposes and display model, and the clients can use or access that configuration.
