Description
Is there any way to add the resizeMode parameter on an image-overlay layer? Right now I think that the resizeMode is cover and the image is displayed even when outside the bounds.

Research direction
The issue names no file, test, or entry point. Search the repository for image-overlay and resizeMode, then trace how overlay bounds and image fitting are handled; done means resizeMode can be supplied for an image-overlay layer and the image no longer renders outside the intended bounds when that mode is selected.
