Description
Hello! 👋🏻
I was just wondering whether there is something in the metadata that signals whether an attribute is "returned by default"? It looks fairly consistently documented, so I was thinking maybe it's generated from some metadata somewhere.
I'd also be interested in metadata for the fields documented as "read-only". I've tried looking at different documents, but was unable to find anything.
Thanks 😄

Research direction
Start by reviewing the captured metadata used for generating client library code, then determine whether it contains signals for fields that are returned by default or read-only. Done means identifying the relevant metadata or documenting that these signals are unavailable; the issue mentions no specific files or tests to run.
