Description

Hi, I am looking for a solution to create Bot that will join PSTN calls and starts recording the call. The bot should also process the Media stream/call recording.

I researched and found that it can be achieved using teams policy-based recording.

I have followed the instructions specified on PolicyRecordingBot. But when I add policy and assign it to user, my user is not able to make/join any call.

Please suggest if this bot will serve my purpose and if so tell me the correct policy configuration.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the linked Teams recording policy and the PolicyRecordingBot sample. Compare the requested PSTN recording and Media stream processing behavior with what that sample supports, then verify the policy configuration that prevents the user from making or joining calls. Done means documenting whether the sample meets the stated purpose and identifying the required configuration.
