Description
Environment
Windows build number: Version 10.0.21364.1000
Your Distribution version: Ubuntu 20.04
Your WSLg version: 1.0.17.1
Steps to reproduce
WSL logs:
-
puseaudio.log
pulseaudio.log -
weston.log
weston.log -
versions.txt
versions.txt
Expected behavior
I should be able to hear the audio from my remote-viewer window.
Actual behavior
I get these errors:
sudo remote-viewer spice+unix:///tmp/tetris.socket
(remote-viewer:494): GSpice-WARNING **: 14:46:40.126: PulseAudio context failed Connection refused
(remote-viewer:494): GSpice-WARNING **: 14:46:40.126: pa_context_connect() failed: Connection refused
More info
Outside of this, the audio works well with VLC installed on Ubuntu. So I don't know why it doesn't work in this use-case.

Research direction
Start by reviewing the attached pulseaudio.log, weston.log, and versions.txt, then reproduce the issue with the listed remote-viewer command. Compare this case with the reported working VLC audio path; done means remote-viewer audio connects without the PulseAudio “Connection refused” errors.
