Description
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The current display (for me) is harder on the eyes. After expanding, I found the fonts are not aliased:

On the left is a windows-native emacs (R, ESS) console, on the right is the same emacs (R, ESS) using WSLg.
Describe the solution you'd like
I'd like to be able to configure/use antialiases fonts (or some mechanism to get the same effect).
Describe alternatives you've considered
None.

Research direction
The issue names no source files, tests, or implementation entry points. Begin by identifying which WSLg display component controls font rendering, then determine how configurable anti-aliasing should be exposed and how the requested appearance can be verified.
