Repro Steps
Fresh install of windows on new hardware. Followed instructions on https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/tutorials/gui-apps, installing intel display driver per instruction (hardware is Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-8109U CPU). Attempted install of each application as noted, all install properly, but none actually work. In particular, followed instructions on https://www.microsoftedgeinsider.com/en-us/download/?platform=linux-deb to install microsoft edge. When executed via microsoft-edge, error is as noted below.
Similar to error from Chrome. Seems like some dependency not present. Help!
Expected Behavior
Open edge
Actual Behavior
[0114/125030.378141:ERROR:exception_handler_server.cc(361)] getsockopt: Invalid argument (22)

Research direction
Start with the WSL GUI apps tutorial and the Edge Linux installation steps linked in the report, then reproduce the launch failure on WSL 2 with Ubuntu-20.04 and the listed kernel version. Investigate the reported getsockopt error and compare it with the similar Chrome failure; done means the installed GUI applications open successfully.
