Description

Environment

Windows build number: Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.22000.282]
Distribution version: Ubuntu 18.04
WSLg version: 1.0.26

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install Lithuanian input language in Windows,
  2. Open WSLg App (I used tilix or gedit),
  3. Switch to Lithuanian input in Windows
  4. Type on number keys 1, 2, 3 (not on Numpad)

WSL logs:

versions.txt

weston.log

Expected behavior

Expected input when typing 1, 2, 3 while using the Lithuanian keyboard layout is: ą, č, ę.

Actual behavior

Input is still 1, 2, 3

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue in a WSLg app such as Tilix or gedit with the Lithuanian Windows keyboard layout, then inspect versions.txt and weston.log. Done means number keys in the affected layout produce ą, č, and ę instead of 1, 2, and 3.
