Description

We currently have the WIQL Editor Azure DevOps extension (developed by Otto Streifel) installed in our ADO. The extension is now marked as unpublished, which makes it non‑compliant from a governance perspective.
Before removing it from our Azure DevOps organisation, we need to clearly understand the impact.
Query / Clarification required:
Could you please confirm whether removing the unpublished WIQL Editor extension will result in any loss or impact to:

Existing saved queries (My Queries / Shared Queries)
Query folders or query permissions
Any other Boards or work‑item–related data within Scrum projects

Our understanding is that the WIQL Editor is primarily an authoring / execution tool and that removing it should not affect existing queries, but we would appreciate confirmation from the maintainers before proceeding.

Environment:

Azure DevOps Services
Scrum projects using Boards and Queries
Thanks in advance for your guidance.
