Brief description of your issue

after installing sublime merge it was weird to me that there was no shortcut for it and winget didn't create links for it in AppData\Local\Microsoft\WinGet\Links as it does for other packages, I don't like how the Path gets polluted with this kind of package so I wanted to uninstall it but winget claims it can't find it:

winget uninstall SublimeHQ.SublimeMerge
No installed package found matching input criteria.

even though it litsts it as installed and it's install location was added to Path

winget ls -q SublimeHQ.SublimeMerge
Name Id Version Source
----------------------------------------------------
Sublime Merge SublimeHQ.SublimeMerge 2102 winget
Steps to reproduce
winget install SublimeHQ.SublimeMerge
winget uninstall SublimeHQ.SublimeMerge
Actual behavior
winget uninstall SublimeHQ.SublimeMerge
No installed package found matching input criteria.
Expected behavior

winget uninstall SublimeHQ.SublimeMerge should actually uninstall it

Research direction

Start with the supplied winget install and winget uninstall reproduction for SublimeHQ.SublimeMerge, then review the attached WinGet log and the package's repository entry. Done means the installed package is found and removed by the documented uninstall command, while the existing listing and environment details remain reproducible.
