  • I have searched for my issue and not found a work-in-progress/duplicate/resolved issue.
  • I have not been informed if the issue is resolved in a preview version of the winget client.
Category of the issue

Multiple installed packages found.

Brief description of your issue

I am Using PowerBI Desktop Cloud (https://www.microsoft.com/de-de/download/details.aspx?id=58494) and PowerBI Desktop for PowerBI Reportserver (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/report-server/install-powerbi-desktop) . So I have installed both on my machine. For devleoping Reports for OnPremise Server I need the Version wich belongs to the Server Version.
Winget want's to update the ReportServer Version with the Cloud Version. That's wrong.

Steps to reproduce

Install both Versions and check for Udpates.

Actual behavior

The PowerBI Deskop for Power BI ReportServer is updated by winget to the cloud Version.

Expected behavior

The PowerBI Desktop for PowerBI Reportserver should be an extra package and managed seperatly,
