Research direction
Start by reproducing winget install AppWork.JDownloader with Windows Defender's potentially unwanted app blocking enabled, then inspect the reported detections for JDownloader2Update.exe and Uninstall JDownloader.exe. Done means establishing whether the packaged installers trigger the alerts and documenting a confirmed disposition or required package change.
