[Package Issue]: tailscale.tailscale fails to upgrade due to MSI package missing error

• I have not been informed if the issue is resolved in a preview version of the winget client.

Brief description of your issue

Upgrading Tailscape 1.48.1 to 1.48.2 with winget upgrade -h --all fails with the error:

Installer failed with exit code: 2

Steps to reproduce

Run on PowerShell as Administrator:

winget upgrade -h --all

Actual behavior

The upgrade fails with the following error:

This installer cannot be used to update an existing MSI-based Tailscale installation. Please use the Tailscale MSI package instead.

shown on the following dialog:

Expected behavior

The upgrade succeeds without errors.

Reproduce the failure with PowerShell as Administrator using winget upgrade -h --all, starting from the tailscale.tailscale package and the attached WinGet log. Done means identifying the package metadata or installer selection causing the MSI update error and confirming that the upgrade from 1.48.1 to 1.48.2 succeeds.
