Description
Please confirm these before moving forward
- I have searched for my issue and not found a work-in-progress/duplicate/resolved issue.
- I have not been informed if the issue is resolved in a preview version of the winget client.
Category of the issue
Installation issue.
Brief description of your issue
When installing kompose through WinGet, the exe is not renamed to the expected standard "kompose" name, instead keeping the name of the downloaded exe file "kompose-windows-amd64.exe".
Steps to reproduce
- Install kompose using WinGet
- Relaunch shell to load updated path variable
- Try to use kompose
Actual behavior
The command fails with:
`kompose : The term 'kompose' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program.
Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again.

- kompose
-
+ CategoryInfo : ObjectNotFound: (kompose:String) [], CommandNotFoundException + FullyQualifiedErrorId : CommandNotFoundException`
Expected behavior
The downloaded kompose executable should be renamed to just "kompose" before being stored in the portable executable directory.
