Research direction

Start by reproducing the reported winget list --scope machine and winget list --exact Git.Git --scope machine commands after installing Git.Git with machine scope. Trace the CLI's machine-scope listing and predefined-source opening paths. Done means machine-scoped listings complete without 0x80070005 and show installed packages as expected.
