Description
Brief description of your issue
WinGet seems to think I have GitHub Desktop 3.3.4 when I do a list, but if I do an upgrade, it says I have 3.3.3. What gives?
Steps to reproduce
I don't know how I got into this situation other than to install GitHub desktop and periodically check for upgrades via WinGet.
Expected behavior
If winget list GitHub.Desktop reports 3.3.4, so should winget upgrade.
Actual behavior
As shown below, I see different versions depending on if I run list or upgrade.
PS C:\> winget upgrade
Name Id Version Available Source
------------------------------------------------------------
GitHub Desktop GitHub.GitHubDesktop 3.3.3 3.3.4 winget
PS C:\> winget list github.githubdesktop
Name Id Version Source
---------------------------------------------------
GitHub Desktop GitHub.GitHubDesktop 3.3.4 winget

Research direction
Start by reproducing the discrepancy with winget upgrade and winget list github.githubdesktop on the reported Windows and WinGet versions. No source files or tests are named; trace the separate list and upgrade version-reporting paths, then verify both commands report the same installed version.
