Description

Description of the new feature / enhancement

I'd like to be able to use WinGet on Windows IoT devices.

We received a report that WinGet doesn't work on Windows IoT.

It may be possible to install WinGet via App Installer and dependencies, but my current understanding is that the Microsoft Store is not available on IoT.

As of now, I would say that Windows IoT is not supported, and we will need to further investigate if this is even possible.

Research direction

No source files or tests are named. Start by investigating how WinGet could be installed on Windows IoT, including App Installer, dependencies, and the absence of Microsoft Store; done means establishing a supported installation path or confirming whether Windows IoT can be supported.
