Description
Description of the new feature / enhancement
Sometimes the "unzip" part of installing a .zip package takes a long time.
I'd like to get some kind of progress like I do for the install flow to make it more obvious that something is happening rather than just the blinking pipe character "|".

Research direction
Start by tracing the install flow and the archive-unzip step, then compare how existing installation progress is reported with the current blinking pipe character. Done means a long-running unzip operation visibly reports progress rather than appearing idle.
