Description
Description of the new feature / enhancement
parallel installation where possible (MSI cannot by design), other installers aren't a problem.
Windows Snapshots (vss / system state) isn't something I consider to be worth looking at. it does not save everything anymore (no registry backups).
Proposed technical implementation details
cannot share more about it, maybe the community has more ideas how to make this real.

Research direction
The issue does not name any files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the CLI's package-installation flow and comparing how MSI and other installers are invoked; done would require a decided, tested approach for parallel installation while preserving the stated MSI limitation.
