In scripting situations it would be good to know pretty quickly if and what winget import would do, e.g. which packages are missing.
Proposed technical implementation details
There shall be a method for a dry-run of winget import, like a command line paramter --WhatIf. It is supposed to be a fast activity and safe time in comparison to running winget import.
I may refer to brew bundle check here on the Homebrew side…
