To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Build Log Monitor in debug mode
- Click on CTRL + C
- See error
Expected behavior
The compiler raises a Debug Assertion Failed error. I've attached the screen shot.

Research direction
Build Log Monitor in debug mode and reproduce the failure by pressing Ctrl+C. Use the attached screenshot and the debug assertion details to locate the shutdown path; done means Ctrl+C no longer triggers the Debug Assertion Failed error in a debug build.
