Description
Type: Bug
The extension-host crashes have returned after the recent VS Code/Copilot update. This was reported by me on August 13th. #314122. You wont let me attach the A/B test file showing the new results from update 0.65.0. That's just what would expect from GitHub/Microsoft. I'm paying for GitHub Copilot which I can't use because it crashes VS Code and becomes un-useable until I start the computer. For uninterrupted work, the no-Copilot launcher remains the safest workaround. This evidence should also be added to #314122 because it demonstrates that the apparent improvement in 1.136.1/Copilot 0.64.1 was not durable. If I don't hear from soon, I'll go public with my thoughts on GitHub's Copilot and VS Code.

Research direction
Start by comparing this report with issue #314122 and the stated VS Code 1.138.0, Copilot 0.65.0, and Windows environment. No source file, test, or entry point is named; the work is complete only when the extension-host crash is reproducible, its cause is isolated, and an actionable fix or confirmed regression is documented.
