Description
- Copilot Chat Extension Version: N/A
- VS Code Version: Latest
- OS Version: macOS
- Feature : Editor Mode / Agents Mode
- Selected model : Copilot / Antigravity Agent
Steps to Reproduce / Problem Description:
1. Initial Setup & UI Mix-up:
After installing third-party AI extensions (like Continue), I was using an integrated AI interface directly inside VS Code's Editor Mode for weeks, assuming it was part of that extension.
2. Accidental Close & Relocation:
I accidentally closed the AI chat panel. When trying to reopen it, I realized the interface I had been using was actually the native/Antigravity AI workspace. However, I can now only access it within the dedicated "Agents Mode" window.
3. Unable to Restore to Editor Mode:
I cannot find a way to dock or open this AI panel back into the standard Editor Mode interface where I originally used it without workspace obstruction.
4. Bugs Experienced in Agents Mode:
- Code Edits Failure: The agent fails to apply or modify workspace code directly into the active files as expected.
- Shortcut Blocking: Essential keybindings like `Cmd + F5` or `F5` (used to run/debug the app) become completely unresponsive or blocked while in Agents Mode.
Request:
Please provide a straightforward way to dock/reopen this AI interface back into Editor Mode, and investigate why Agents Mode locks shortcut execution (`F5`) and struggles with direct file edits.
