Retain configured terminals

Type: Feature Request

I have a workspace where I'm working on a monorepo containing multiple applications, so I need to open several terminals to get my work done. The issue is that when I close and reopen VS Code, the terminals I opened are gone.
This also renders the terminal icon-changing tool useless; you go to the trouble of assigning an icon to a terminal, but it only lasts for the day—by the next day, everything has disappeared.
It would be great if these were preserved as part of the workspace data.
