Unwanted Copilot install and usage

I logged into Github to sync settings between machines - missed MS possibility on Ubuntu at first. Then started getting annoying multiline unwanted autocomplete with tab (I use it for indent, easy to change, but irrelevant) - meaning AI is being used, not locally, and my code and other data is being sent off machine! At first didn't see it under installed extensions (...), but when searching showed that copilot was installed and enabled.

I request stuff like this to not be opt-out, but opt-in - not pushed by default!
