Performance issues from version 1.133.0 onward

Type: Performance Issue

I'm experiencing a lot of lag when trying to edit files, scroll through files, etc. I tested a few versions and it appears that this issue began in version 1.133.0, since I experienced much less lag from version 1.132.1.

I've attached some videos to show the difference. You can see the scrolling movement is much smoother in the first video.
