Local VS crashes + AI agents completely unresponsive

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes

- VS Code Version: 1.137.0
- OS Version: Winows 11 latest and MacOS latest

I connect from both a MacOS host and multiple Windows hosts to the same remote Linux environment. I changed NOTHING about my configuration prior to the latest updates. I am only running Remote-SSH, clangd, and python/pylance plugins.

All AI agents are completely unresponsive.

Local VS code window crashes EVERY 3-5 minutes with an OOM error along with constant extension host crashes. The OOM error occurs even with extensions disabled.

I hate to be this vague with a bug report, but I honestly don't know where to even stat with troubleshooting this mess.
