I lost all my claude code sessions

Type: Bug

i havent been using VS code for a while with the claude code extension, i decided to get back to work on it. all my prior sessions were deleted.
at first, i still saw the session windows at the claude code menu, with their name intact and when i opened, the chat was empty.
i tried to reload windows and it wiped the entire sessions from the menu. i dont have any session backed up. why did this happen?'
