Chat history missing after closing custom agent popup

I opened a temporary chat with the custom agent DDR expert from .github/agents/DDR expert.agent.md. After the popup was closed, the conversation was not available in Chat History. Reopening the custom agent starts a new conversation without the previous context.

Please clarify whether popup agent conversations are expected to be persisted and provide a way to restore them.
