Subagent consuming large tokens

Type: Bug

I have an orchestrator agent that calls another agent like git branch creation, azure devops task creation etc. I see the first call by the orchestrator agent consumed ~8k tokens, however, the subagent AI LLM call of git branch creation and azure devops task creation agent consumed ~20k tokens each.

When I checked the logs, it is not showing any large context/content being sent to the AI LLM for processing, instead it was merely 1000 words in total. It is happening for all the sub agent call made.

I am using Claude Haiku 4.5 model for all the agents.
