Description
Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: **No**
* VS Code Version: 1.135.0 (Universal)
* OS Version: macOS 26.4
### Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open VS Code on macOS.
2. Connect to a remote machine using Remote SSH.
3. Look at the Remote SSH indicator in the bottom-left corner of the status bar.
4. The indicator has unusually large rounded corners, making it visually inconsistent with the rest of the VS Code status bar.
### Expected Behavior
The Remote SSH status bar indicator should follow the standard VS Code status bar styling and align naturally with the bottom-left corner of the window.
### Actual Behavior
The Remote SSH indicator is rendered as a pill-shaped element with large rounded corners. In particular, the bottom-left corner is visibly rounded and leaves an inconsistent gap/shape against the edge of the VS Code window.

Research direction
Reproduce the issue on macOS with a Remote SSH connection and inspect the Remote SSH indicator in the status bar. Compare its corners and alignment with the surrounding status bar styling; done means the indicator no longer has an oversized pill shape or an inconsistent bottom-left gap.
