New tab aesthetics make it confusing which tab I am on

New "ModernUI" tab aesthetics make it confusing which tab I am on. For example, can you tell me which tab I am on?

Do you hesitate? That's the problem. I don't have mental capacity to ask and answer this question every time I check my tabs. Why can't we make this unambiguous like in MS Edge?
