Suggestive text for my variables not working

Type: Bug

I tried doing
Open the Command Palette by pressing Ctrl + Shift + P (Cmd + Shift + P on Mac).Type and select Developer: Reload Window.Why this helps: This completely reboots the editor process and forces it to re-index all the variables in your active file.
also tried
Open your Settings (Ctrl + , or Cmd + ,).Search for editor.quickSuggestions. Make sure Other, Comments, and Strings are set to on (or true).
and enabled Other and Strings to On
Still does not find my variables on the predictive list of text
