Markdown previewer sometimes incorrectly renders ranges of text in math mode

Type: Bug

The following snippet of markdown seems well-formed:

`NETWORK_PER_AUDIO_HOUR` and `OVERHEAD_PER_AUDIO_HOUR` were calibrated as $ / `sum(duration_delta)`,
i.e. per connected hour. Re-basing them on `exact_dur_delta` leaves this projection's dollars
untouched (which is why `--audio-hours` does not do it) but makes the two envs' rates agree far
better -- egress 0.00149 vs 0.00138 $/audio-h against 0.00153 vs 0.00130 on the connection basis --
which is weak evidence that audio is the better physical basis. It matters when transferring a rate
to a different traffic mix, not when reproducing the invoice it came from.
