Cursor goes white (on white background)

Type: Bug

While moving my cursor around in the code window, the cursor often turns white (against white background). It effectively looks like it disappeared, but I can spot it when moving it against text.

It does not always happens. It seems random.

I tried everything within settings, extensions, profiles, etc. The bug has been there for 2-3 years, but I've always tolerated it.
